HeuristicLab 2.0 Introduction

Stefan Wagner is presenting the new architecture that HeuristicLab 2.0 will build upon. The new framework is a dramatic improvement over HeuristicLab 1.1 and provides concepts for even better construction of heuristic algorithms. The rigid algorithm and problem plugins are split into even smaller plugins that are then assembled during runtime to form one of the many optimization algorithms. The main features of this presentation are:

  • Motivation for HL2.0
  • Look inside the new architecture
  • Presentation of the new interfaces
