Even-Driven Objects in .NET

Florian Haager, a master student at the Upper Austria University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, showed the final presentation he drew from his master thesis. The topic is not directly related to evolutionary algorithms, but could influence the architectures in which modern metaheuristics are implemented! The purpose of this study is to use Microsoft .NET to design a framework suitable for distributed computing by deploying objects within a peer to peer parallel environment. Florian showed his approach, the way he performs synchronization and presented results from a first test application.
